Great for his target matchups, booty everywhere else, definitely needs a bit more on defense with that energy damage regen, and a little more on attack I think the core charges should expire by two not four.

Hes pretty much unusable outside of champs that dont deal energy damage. In the target mus hes solid but nothing crazy

already feel like needing changes for less frequent energy match up, something gaining charges just by attack to motivate agressive play style

I think he’s great. There are a lot of energy and mutant champs he can do well against. He’s tanky with armor and -80% armor penetration paired with healing of energy damage. He can also do some strong and sneaky damage. Throw in power drain, heal block and parry of non-contact and you’ve got some great classic tech utility. Top it all off with some stellar animations and you’ve got a great champ!

is not 80% armor penetration but crit reduction,he doesn't have Anti Armor mechanic of Shocker to replace the Crits

My bad you meant for defense, tought you meant for attack in that line

I‘m starting to understand the big guy, got this with class disadvantage and a r1. He’s really not as bad as some people say he is.

    what rotation?
  • El_ProfessorEl_Professor Member Posts: 55
The SP3 rotation is pretty solid even in non-target matchups. Against ROL WS my R1 did ~300k damage and then as a R2 he was doing ~400k (no synergies, suicides, boosts, or relic). It takes about a minute to run through and you get the power drain debuff on most of the time.

It does reset him back to 0 at the end, so finishing the fight after that took a while, but for ‘nuking’ down non target matchups under that health threshold, that’s better than I expected.

Rotation was SP2 (build to 10 armor ups), SP1 (convert all 10 to energize), then SP3 as fast as possible. I got to three bars before throwing any special, to get the extra charges.

I think he could use a little tune up, faster charge gain and/or slower decay in non target matchups wouldn’t be game breaking at all. And personally, I’d like to see the kit have some interaction with crit rate/damage - more armor pen, coldsnap bursts, gain charges, something. Or something on the heavy? Something else to keep the loop interesting while you’re just building charges, hitting the opponent, waiting.

But… with how long it takes now for rebalance, it’s pretty pointless to get excited for a possible update. They’ll review his kit in what, 6 months, so around February 2026? And even if they decide he needs a tune up, it would be another long wait until we get one. It could be a year or more before Solvarch gets any attention. By that time we’d have the last Eidol in game, and time for two or three more Deathless/Eidol-cadence champ releases. It would be like if Deathless Vision was updated in a few months from no- oh, yeah.

Basically the normal Sp2 - Sp1 rotation but to get your charges faster you try to only throw specials at 3 bars and exit the damage mode at around 30-40 charges unless you’re going for the kill. Parrying Energy Specials is suggested as the damage is halved anyway so they barely do damage.

    Hear me out

during Absorbing mode all your light attacks give you 3 charges per hit, both mediums give 5 charges

during release mode your reverb in just set burst without needing to worry about the core charges and now loses 2 per second

Solvarch attacks gain Armor penetration % based on his crit rating, each core charge increase crit rating by 0.4% (54% Armor penetration in total)

increase the attack rating give by your energize by 0.2% per point in crit damage rating

Solvarch have 14% crit rating and 201% crit damage rating

Just awful. Literally couldn’t even take down a 5* Colossus in AQ Map 5 in the allotted time. I was at 200+ hits and Colossus still had 40% health. That’s a 7R1. You should be able to take down that Colossus with any champ in the game at 7R1.

I think only losing charges when hitting with the reverb would be solid, but

You mean a champion with tons of Armor and physical resist with a character that can't crit?

i did warn about his interaction with armor previously soo that was expected and they 100% will work on that for consistency
