Kabam win for lag and overheating?

I had heard on Rich's youtube video that the devs were testing a fix to the game/server lag and disconnects. I just wanted to say I think it's working. I think I only had one red icon in the past day and a half. Also yesterday I played a ton and my phone didn't get hot like before.

If it's from the fix then, as a recent complainer on the forum, I wanted to acknowledge the dev team. Thanks for jumping on this so quickly.

Also they havent fixed squat they just added more bugs to raids per usual they are unable to do anything right

it’s interesting how the atmosphere here changed. Forums feel like an abandoned place, where only the last veterans stay and keep the light on. The game moved to a direction, i can not support any longer. I limit my time in the game (when I have luck and it opens) - not talking about spending.

It feels like endgame of mcoc.

It feels that way because it is, no matter how hard some people try to gaslight and convince otherwise. I've been on and off throughout the years since downloading the game for the first time in 2015. Haven't been a consistent forum dweller until recently so I had no idea about community backlash on 12.0 and stuff but I've been a frequent visitor for the past 3-4 years and I've honestly never seen this game and forum in a worse state.

Contrary to the impression I may be giving, I haven't been as critical as I am today like until a year ago at most. 2023 was an amazing year, 2024 ruined the competitive experience with some new design strategy leading to the most overtuned champion ever to be released and 2025 is just a mess all around with few but great pieces of content like epoch and some challenges doing the heavy lifting. I'm roughly explaining the key features here, not to take away from the engaging seasonal bosses in 2024 and well-designed champions like Thanos in 2025 for example. All I'm trying to portray is how sudden the downfall came to happen that we went from a major success like 2023 to a huge failure like 2025. Kabam objectively didn't do a great job at maintaining the flow and I have no idea why despite them boasting about their financial success. All the additional ways of monetizing and increased pricing doesn't lead to fixed issues in return for some reason.

Neither the players nor the game can take the overwhelming cumulation of all kinds of those issues anymore though. Both Kabam and I can frankly ignore some rare Platinumpool bug but its not as easy to ignore the winning round of the bgs match I just played for 100+ points crashing. Thankfully I was able to nuke in 30 seconds again and opponent had screwed up, saving me from a "crash out".

I'm not even in an alliance, not competitive in bgs, I don't spend anymore (my total money spent is a lot less than a 7* Dark Phoenix), don't grind arenas or incursions but still, the amount of major bugs I face daily to ruin my experience is just too overwhelmingly high. I can't even begin to think how insufferable it has to be for those leaning more towards the competitive side or at least more engaged overall but the day when frustration takes over addiction is quite near by the way it seems.

This is not a sentimental comment, there are many visible signs of the failure and downfall of the game I've already talked about a bit in previous comments so I won't repeat myself though I already did to an extent.

Also as you can clearly tell, I played the game a bit more than usual today and still faced that loading + weak connection combo a few times so I'm not sure if OP's case is placebo or actually valid. My experience didn't feel much different.
