Anyone quitting mcoc, this week..! Pls let us know the reason & plan for returning player?

Seems old player started to quit playing mcoc continuously for every week. Few may return after an year, few after 2 or 3 years. Some won't ever.
Would like to know the reason & changes required in mcoc to make them stay long in mcoc..

I started playing this game 7 years ago and I still have some of my old alliance mates in my friend list. A lot of them were big whales back then, but now half of my list is just gone forever. Many haven’t even logged in for 3–4 years… and these were players who spent a lot. Honestly, looking at how things are now, maybe I’ll end up leaving this year too.

I will be one of them, i always play casually for one or two month in a year reason why i do this is content itself.

A lot of efforts have to put up ranking up a champ and that will be the case if we got the right champion
A alot of content to explore to gather resources.
BG is also not fun anymore because some people are having best champs for which we don't have counters and at end of the day it become useless content to explorer further. ( This can get resolve if kabam gives 30 champs for each season by paying certain amount / units) so people can enjoy BG by paying
There are useless challenges which is hard to explorer and trust me no one want to tap screen more than 5 mins in a fight.
Alot of bugs and consistent bugs are there.

TBH nice thread. I am playing this game since November 2021.I am also tired of this game. I remember I used to be crazy about this game…I cleared every everest content except the old one like LOL and AOL. Here are few reason that I found that made me less intrested this game.

There are so many contents that need to be covered. Sometimes it seems like I am spending more time than my office work.
BG is not anymore fun. It is just for top100 or 200. Who gets the good amount of radiance and shatter token. I usually end up gamma after lot of efforts. also strict timeline for weekly radiance objective which I don't like.
Kabam is removing reward from the existing reward like we saw in alliance events is removed and they bring Alliance SE. That is not good. Small revive, units and energy refills are missing. I usually gets the 6 energy per week but now it is nothing. They are giving 1000 T7B shards and some loyalty that's it.
Kabam has become too greedy. They wants us to spend resources for every content at this time. I never feel EQ is hard but this time of EQ was hard for me. I had to use revives to explore valient EQ. Also now progression level EQ is still in development. God knows how much hard that will be...
IMO game is usually to have some fun and pass the time but this is become a duty for me..which is really not good for me and my future. I can't even spend 1-2 hours in a day...but you see the contents at the moment it takes too much time.
So many bugs floating around the game. For now network issue bothering me so much. It happens anytime. Yesterday I was doing aw and it happens 3 times. For me it was 3 kills and I lose half of my health which really hurts.
There is too much delay in response from kabam. It seems community achieved their goal to get job in kabam and enjoying their life.

I am thinking to leave this game forever in 2 months give or take. May be it is time to Good the time game. It taken 4 years of my life.

I also quit this game and these are my reasons:
1) They are like hydra, fix 1 bug, 2 more shall take its place
2) My fav gamemode, BGS aint fun no more, like once upon a time, it was like bgs was all about skills, but now its just about players and how many r4 you have
3) Contents that they add are like: side quest is too boring and long form content wayy too long
4) If you wanna do a quest, watch mcocnoob, and like few more youtubers run (seatin's recent video)
5) Another reason that not related to game is the lack of time to play it.
6) that red signal thing that comes in bottom right of screen
But I will probably never return to this game, I played this game for 2-3 yrs

The biggest problem, kabam ignore that the game is ****. Not playable, cause a million problem, bug, lagging so on. Should take focus only money offers. Any game mode just come into my face even i dont want to open just happaening. My team mates just rageing. Its not fun. I don t wondering people quitting.

So player base are being forced to do the same, a simply issue to understand but Kabam refuse to acknowledge this as well,

Many people are on their way out because it's become way too obvious that Kabam doesn't care anymore.

They don't care to fix any game issues

They don't care to build and improve on their existing game and make it better.

They just care about making new things and having sale after sale after sale

It's forced the community who have played this game to become frustrated and leave.
The worst part is that Kabam wont learn until all their most dedicated and loyal players are gone and will have to work more than twice as hard to get those payers back

Depending on a few factors, I'll quit in 2 weeks at most. Despite taking many breaks here and there, I've been playing since release pretty much but I'm both tired and frustrated over the game experience today. Game is clearly in the worst state its ever been in, relative to how developed it is.

They also broke forums for no reason and many people are either quitting or deciding not to be as active as they used to. I feel like community engagement has decreased drastically, I remember this platform being a lot more active just a few weeks ago but might be a problem with my limited perception.

Think I'm just sick of all the issues I have to face daily as they are escalating instead of diminishing. Game is updated, new content is added, its only natural for more bugs to arise but its not like the old ones are getting fixed either. The team involved with fixing them are either too small or too incompetent to do their job it seems. I don't even expect much for seemingly more complicated bugs but how hard could it be for the bug in which we couldn't view the drafts in a battlegrounds match history to be fixed sooner than almost a whole year? Whole month is coming to an end and the connection issues coupled with slow loading times still persist, they couldn't even announce a fix is ready yet.

I haven't even been in an alliance for over a year now but if I had to fight an armor break immune Sasquatch for the umpteenth time or had a game crash in war I may have completely lost my mind. Maybe that's another sign why quitting is the right choice for me, I play so little relative to most people here and even that is enough to make me question what the hell I'm doing with my life.

We also got accustomed to how flawed the AI is that over the past years literally nothing about it got better. Nothing. It only became worse. We were told to be patient, understanding, acknowledge how coding works but there's a time where action over intention is expected and we haven't had a single positive action taken for this matter. We're just like "yeah, AI sucks" with not much to add or expect.

Communication is terrible, this month has been the worst I've ever seen. I genuinely don't even know if Dave is still working at Kabam, Mike claims to be reading every single comment yet refuses to make one himself for most, Pinwheel was quite prominent but even he went into complete silence this month. Even guardians are out of sight, feels like we're left all alone with nobody outside to hear our voice. What's the point?

Aggressive monetization coupled with the 7 star rarity / new champion release behind paywalls or exclusive events lead to an insane increase in the gap between top whales and anything below. Its not even a matter of f2p vs whales anymore since the requirements of being a whale got increased significantly and even moderate spenders are outclassed at this point. I don't have a Dark Phoenix counter so I have to permaban her. I also can't draft my mystic defenders if they have Torch so you could make a case for a Torch ban as well. I got lucky and pulled Tigra, she is r4 now. If my opponent doesn't have her and decides to let her through the ban phase, chances are that I'll nuke one of his top defenders in 30-40 seconds full hp. Sure, go ahead and try to draft around a r4 Tigra.

Can go on but I'm bored, I just don't enjoy the game nor have the patience for Kabam to do nothing. I got to experience some of the most enjoyable content though so no regrets on that part. It used to be a great game, it still is foundationally. They just can't properly implement the core ideas anymore.

Am frustrated with the long chase on expecting 7* champs. It takes more than 4 yrs to get expecting champ. Due to less 7* nexus

Also in current rebirth crystal my least choice was saber tooth & night trasher (out of all 6) but I got those 2 champs from those crystal. I prefer those crystals let it be nexus type, so won't upset much.

Due to delay in getting most expecting champ, making use of rank up material on other champ..

Need more nexus type crystals (particularly on special crystals like rebirth crystals).

Ngl im just waiting for the titan reset at this point, if my pulls are cheeks I plan on quitting or at least playing far less. Tired of all the back to back spending events that lock all the meta champs behind currency. Not to mention the poorly-designed defender kits that either make you take unavoidable damage, or have some sort of absurd damage cap that prevents you from beating them in a reasonable time

👆 what he said… pretty much sums it up for me. I’ve honestly played way too long and feel really guilty about it. I’m waiting to open a bunch of Titans with the upcoming new batch, but if I don’t get my targeted champs, Adios! Part of me hopes I pull 10 Green Falcons so I actually do leave.

This small portion of players that do not represent 0,001% that will quit arent a problem to Kabam at all.

I have fun reading people raging about the game, and I might quit cause I am starting to rage at it myself.

Worst month, 2 months, 3.months, saga or whatever you wanna call it. Adding unnecessary, unrelated modes that are bugged and add on to the existing ones.

I know this is a free game; and there is a big part of the community that is F2P; but some others are or were CLIENTS, so how about they start being treated as such instead of being treated as bug testing and data collecting guinea pigs?

I started regret logging mcoc lately cause it's not fun in competative mode anymore for me. The difference is quite wider with money being a very huge volatile reasons. Just shows how greedy a company goes and I don't wanna afford that much money to be on top anymore. Maybe I might be in this list anytime soon as the game also required playing more than 5 hours a day which I cant afford as well.

I quit the game last week. Don’t feel a thing.

I started playing Fortnite again and can’t tell you enough how much more fun it is. The company isn’t as greedy for money and actually does fix bugs relatively fast. Not too mention it’s more fun.

Monetization. I used to spend here and there (never a whale) and could keep up. Now, unless you are dropping thousands of dollars, you aren't competitive. I've completely stopped spending, so I will fade off into the sunset eventually. I still enjoy (most) of the solo content. I was hoping BGs would save this game, but it's basically ruining the game. For me, this all started with the 2023 July 4th sales. They sold huge BG decks by allowing players to buy more r5 6* than you could earn in game. There was immediate backlash and they backed off a tiny bit over the next few months. But now? That has been turbocharged. Selling tons of r4s and the best champions. Should spenders have an advantage? Absolutely. But it has gotten out of hand.

Game is P2W, I won't quit though. Never understood why people "quit" games acting like it's their job or something. You can take a break but quitting outright sounds goofy.
