9.3 Exploration rewards really 1-2 gems?

Really only 1-2 gems for exploration? Just a touch surprised they aren’t 2-3 considering we’re on the precipice of R5s.

I know it’s probably not a typo, just hoping by some chance it is

These rewards are trash. I'm guessing kabam put the rewards budget in the t7b fragments.

The rewards seem objectively pretty good overall, but for some reason they just don't feel very "exciting". We need more fun stuff, like more nexus crystals

Agreed on this point. Even the class crystals are just ugh. Stuck with the basic pool, and no hope to target a specific champ

People were complaining about 9.2 not having any R2 gems because of the shortage of T3A/T6B.

I assume this is in response to that.

Chapter rewards have never been where they put the "good rewards". We'll get something similar for Ch. 4 completion and they'll put the majority of the good stuff in the Act exploration rewards.

9.2 rewards give 2x generic 1-2 gems. 9.3 the same…The rewards are pure garbage. They cannot accept that no one really cares about relics. No awakening gems, no rank 3 gems. No Nexus. This doesn't feel rewarding at all.

act and endgame content in general should not have rewards that you can achieve in 1 month of bgs. Period.

yeah this is largely true. But a 2-3 gem I wouldn’t exactly put in the “good rewards” category at this stage. We’ve already gotten a ton of 2-3 gems this year alone. Just not sure why once every 6 month content couldn’t have them too

I assume the budget went into that 7* Relic, which players now need to increase their Prestige.

But yeah a Titan Nexus and maybe change the 2x R1-R2 to one R1-R2 and one R2-R3 would of been nice

I wouldn't either, but I was just referring to the bigger rewards coming in Act completion/exploration and not the Chapters. It's been that way for as long as I can remember.

compare 9.1 to 9.2 rewards… then look at 9.3. This is a huge miss

we don’t even know wich path rewards we getting and people are already complaining maybe they give 1 T4A with each side chapter. Who knows.?

but honestly the 1-2 gems looks underwhelming when you can get those resources with radiance for less then 20K

1-2 are pretty much useless these days because of radiance, we should've had two 2-3.

At this rate we might get a r4 gem for act 9 exploration. By then r5 will already be a thing. lol

There's not any excitement whatsoever from me on those rewards. The 7 hour crystals right now offer more value overall than those rewards by a big margin and all we have to do is log in.

If you just look back at the reward progression from 9.1 to 9.2 it's a big jump.. from 9.2 to 9.3.. eh

I personally think the game is too large now and there too many objectives, modes, events, etc. and it essentially waters down the rewards for each avenue in order to not exceed a certain budget or pace

But ultimately what this means for players is our overall time to reward ratio gets worse (we must spend way more time in multiple modes because all the rewards are scattered about)

This at first glance really looks underwhelming compared to act 9.2 but then again its just an act rewards not the overall so let's wait and see....

And abt the r1 to r2 gem I think it's there because they gave enough materials to r3 like 2 to 3 champs and even 1 r4 so that r1 to 2 gem feels more like a bonus lol

The big jump will come in the next sale that will allow us to make up for the rewards we feel are lacking in the content if we are willing to spend enough.

I don't have any particular problem with the rewards. What I do have a problem with, which is a thing that makes any rewards they put out fairly underwhelming, is that I have basically zero interest in the basic 7* pool. Class crystals are better than just ordinary 7* crystals, but when I look through the basic pool and I'm taking the champs that are soon joining it into account (from the Titan pool rollover as well as the Omega Days champs), I'm still just missing 11 champs. Right now, before those champs have entered the basic pool, I'm just missing five champions in there.

That means that any crystal that targets the basic pool is…it would be an exaggeration to say they are straight-up useless to me, but they certainly aren't very exciting to me. They will allow me to target Juggs, who I've somehow never pulled, but once I have him my interest in the basic pool is basically zilch. That in turn means that class crystals and Nexus crystals etc that target the basic pool also loses a lot of their value to me. They're cool and different from the ordinary crystals, but they ultimately have an extremely small chance of leading me to anything I want anyway.

I'm not sure how to fix that, especially since 9.3 will probably be explored even by people for whom the basic pool has not run dry and who therefore do appreciate those crystals.

That being said, the rewards from all of this will allow me to r4 two champs (since I already have two t7bs), and I'm very happy about that. I would have loved an awakening gem since I need one for my Modok., but I did seem to remember seeing an awakening gem among the top EQ rewards so maybe I'll be able to get a hand on one anyway next month.

Well, the 9.2. deal was 15k units for an R4 gem and a Titan nexus.

Not saying that anyone needed to buy it, but people were saying it was an awful deal and that we should wait for J4 sale.

Three months later the J4 sale came and what could you get for those same 15k units? Nothing but trash.

So don't make the same mistakes again, exactly.

Unless you're going to have enough units/cash to max out the CW deals, your units will go much further buying the 9.3 deal than the first two or three offers of the CW event. That's my guess anyway.

These rewards are disappointing. These rewards feel like a well balanced diet not desert. I know there has to be balance and an economy to the game but “rewards” for completing a new challenge should be exciting. The Crucible rewards hit that sweet spot of being fun and rewarding for the effort.
