You can play with a controller on pc so why should this be a problem, I actually think this makes it harder if you have got used to the phone swipes.

Kabam has said before that controllers are usually fine. As long as it is still a true and unchanged, appropriately downloaded version of the game, then it should be fine. But what they have also said is that since the game is not built to use a controller, they can't speak to the functionality at all and it may not be a great experience.
