he’s perfect now
I apologize for the necro, my first one ever but I had to come back after all the testing this season and the last one because the disrespect from the "overhyped" comments were too much to just ignore lol
Still think he's overhyped and worse than Gladiator? Cause this screams top top 5 to me if we don't count CGR Herc and Hulkling since they're 6* locked still. Gladiator isn't even top 10 anymore for a lot of people and I speak as someone who uses Gladiator in BGs quite often. This current meta doesn't triple Cull's damage like the previous one mind you, so all of these fights are just Cull's raw damage and nothing modifying it. He doesn't need more utility because of how fast he nukes everything, and as you can see the block proficiency is not an issue at all, block proficiency stat is more than enough to fix that problem contrary to popular belief when the buff first came out.
Hi @ItsClobberinTime ,
I don't know anything about Cull, his utility or rotation, just hear he got big damage.
I got him unawakened and not ranked him up yet (ranking resource are very precious to me, and I seem to have wasted it on the champ that getting nerf).
Could you share me some insight into why Cull is good, what rotation I need to do, does he need awaken, and what techniques you used for some of these fight, e.g Jean?
Many thanks in advance
Cull is 80% big damage ( big yellow and red numbers ) and 20% utility ( includes parrying non contact attacks and countering evade & autoblock )
has persistent charges which give him attack and other bonuses
starts with 3 persistent charges in BGs and War ( counter evade & autoblock from the get go )
Rotation : Parry heavy 2-3 times then dash back hold block to activate rout buff then just full 5 hit combos till sp2 ( most defenders die by the time sp2 finishes ) which has stun to do more combos
he really needs to be awakened at the very lest
Basically what the person above me explained, not much else to add other than personally I like to do three heavies always then wait for them to chase and throw heavy and then I go for combos relic etc until sp2 is ready and fire it usually it's enough to kill.
He absolutely needs awakening and the higher the sig the better the damage tho, so unless he's awakened and around sig 60-80 I wouldn't rank up personally it would feel like a bit of a waste
@ItsClobberinTime add these 2 to your arsenal as well. (Didnt have Block proficiency set so probably could've had even more HP)
Cull is great nuke if you can Armor break them effectively, he can cook anyone
He should be nerfed!!
Anyone that has used him knows he is made of wet paper. He can deal a lot of damage, but the damage he takes through block is massive, and there are still issues with hit boxes too.
What's a SIM relic?
Imagine if Cull had been behind a paywall like Torch or Dark Phoenix instead of freely available to pretty much everyone (with 200 sig stones for good measure).
Dude is basically a 7 star CGR in most BG metas and even easier to use.
But I'm sure when 7 star CGR gets sold during CW or Banquet everyone on the forums will cry about how greedy and unfair Kabam is.
Superior Iron Man relic, it's one of the new ones.
What block damage? Lol again, common misconception spread by people who only ever used the 6*. If you throw block proficiency stat focus on him he has the same block proficiency as half the cosmic class including Galan Hulkling Hyperion Medusa and Thanos so where are all the wet paper comments for these five too? Stop watching Lagacy so much and go see for yourself, I assume that's where this misconception comes from after he ranted for hours about how they "didn't fix what needed to be fixed" when block proficiency stat clearly fixes that issue already and if you want even more you can just throw one of the Sup. Iron Man relics on him for even more block proficiency
That Photon one is very impressive I didn't even think he could do that one
What rank is your cull? Did you happen to crit alot in these pictures and thats why you finished them in one rotation or? What happens if lets say you don't get alot of crits, can he still pull through with the oneshot?
Also what about putting crit stat focus + SIM relic on him? maybe the double focus on block prof is not needed.
r3 tho that Photon fights isn't mine it's Polygon's.
But no, crits don't matter with him really. He applies a ton of armor breaks and at r3 you get +1 890 attack rating just by existing basically and then once you trigger the rout you get an extra +630 so the rout damage and even regular hits deal a **** ton of damage regardless because of the armor breaks, and if they're not dead once the rout expires you get a 10k fury buff at max sig r3 so they definitely will be right after that.
The only problem is when he can't armor break then yeah damage is not that crazy, that's where the CGR comparisons come into play even though yes CGR can still work even when he can't apply armor breaks but you get what I mean.
