i agree. it would be cool if they buffed or reworked all the old champs and still put out new ones, just not as often. imo
The best buff for Blade is Danger Sense against all champions, with synergies that enhance its potency. This will make him a valuable asset in the current meta.
Simple update would fix him and return him to meta again, do a matching rupture against bleed immune like morbius, put his stark spidey and ghost rider synergy into his kit. Boom thatβs it.

They could give Blade a mini-buff by making Dark Phoenix, Phoenix and Annihilus dimensional beings as they should be and by extending his Danger Sense bonuses to #Monsters
Someone suggested in a different thread that his synergies be placed into his core kit. That would be a plus.
I'm going to R4 him the second I pull him regardless.
Blade is a monster even now. Having the GR syn in his kit would be really sweet, but may tend to too OP (possibly). Source: have an r4 max sig blade.

Theres no reason to make Phoenix a dimensional being because it isnt one. Annihilus, sure you can do that.

Yeah having to bring 2 other champs along in order to make him effective against non-dimensional beings ain't right.
That's 3 if you're eyeing both mystic and villains without losing out on the potency of his danger sense.
I wouldn't mind a free 7 star. We got 10 free 7 stars last year, there was Guardian, sig 200 Miles and a few others, really. Please make the next freebie Blade.

honestly his danger sense needs to be expanded to all monsters maybe villains and there need to be more #dimensional beings ( there are a lot but few are properly tagged) also new senergies would be great

Blade really doesn't need much to become relevant again - a bit more damage, some tweaks to Danger Sense (as people have suggested above), and maybe some broader Skill-type AAR utility, to make him useful in non-Dimensional/non-bleed matchups.
I haven't posted a redesign for ages, so thought I would - thoughts on this one?
Blade rework
Stats for 6* 5/65 Class: Skill Attack 4504 Health 49414
Danger Sense: Danger Sense triggers at the start of the fight against all opponents carrying the tags #Dimensional Being or #Legion of Monsters. Whilst Danger Sense is active, Blade gains +3603 Attack and +422 Critical Rating; and his opponent's ability accuracy is reduced by 45%. Additionally, any Fury or Precision buffs that Blade would gain become Passives instead, and gain +45% Potency.
The Daywalker Whilst near a bleeding opponent, Blade's vampiric nature grants him +1801 Attack, and he generates 6% of a bar of Power per second, plus an additional 2% for each stack of bleed beyond the first. Additionally, whilst Blade is nearby, each stack of bleed reduces the opponent's Ability power rate by 20%, and any power denied is granted to Blade.
Blade's vampirism also reduces the duration of debuffs, and damage from degeneration . These effects improve with increasing power (max benefits at two full bars of power):
- At zero power: -20% degeneration damage and -30% debuff duration
- Two bars or more: -60% degeneration damage and -90% debuff duration
Well-timed blocks: Well-timed blocks reduce the opponents Offensive Ability Accuracy by -45%, and inflict a Bleed debuff for 2162 damage over three seconds. If any Bleed fails due to an Immunity, Blade then shifts to a more defensive posture; and subsequent well-timed blocks instead benefit from +1225 Block Proficiency and an additional flat -20% Offensive Ability Accuracy.
Critical hits When striking with his sword, Critical hits have a 70% chance to Inflict Bleed, causing 2162 damage over 3 seconds. If a Bleed fails due to immunity when he is striking the opponent, Blade instead gains a Cruelty passive granting +182 Critical Damage Rating for five seconds. These Passives stack to a max of nine, and expire one at a time.
Heavy Attacks Blade's Heavy attack inflicts a Disorient debuff reducing the opponent's ability accuracy by 45% for five seconds. Whilst the opponent is bleeding, this debuff expires half as quickly
Special Attacks If activated whilst the opponent is bleeding, or whilst Blade has three or more personal Cruelty passives, activate a Fury buff granting +3603 Attack for nine seconds, paused during the Special Attack. Max stacks 1.
SP1 - Generate a Precision buff granting +1250 Critical Rating for nine seconds. Inflicts Bleed for 4504 damage over 12s.
SP2 - This attack benefits from +8500 Critical Rating, and any critical hits inflict Bleed for 1224 damage over 1s. For each bleed inflicted, Blade instantly generates 6% of a bar of Power.
SP3 - Inflict three stacks of bleed, inflicting 6305 damage over 12s. Also has 80% chance to inflict Stun for 3s
Signature Ability:
Enhanced Danger Sense - Blade's Danger Sense expands to include Mystic champions who carry the #Villain tag.
Vampiric Immortality - When he is below 70% health and holding Block, Blade's healing factor consumes his own power to recover 2407 health/s, at a cost of 35% to 20% of a bar of power. If Blade is prevented from gaining health, this ability will not trigger.
I think it's better to use 7* stats as they are more meta-revelant. Six stars are starting to be phased out by most 7*s
