**UPDATES TO ENLISTMENT GIFTING EVENT:**
To prevent exploitation, we will prevent new Accounts from being able to Gift enlistment crystals. We will also be taking action on those who are using 3rd Party Sellers, Bots and other farms to gift themselves mass amounts of Enlistment Crystals. Lastly, we will be adding an expiration timer to Enlistment Crystals. All unopened Enlistment Crystals will expire on Oct 18 @ 17:00 UTC. For more information, please see this post: https://forums.playcontestofchampions.com/en/discussion/346104/updates-to-enlistment-gifting-event

  • Thanks for all the help before the crystals came out Miike. Really appreciate it!

Yeah, sorry for being late on this one. We got this up late yesterday. But, you could always wait until somebody has replied to your questions before opening a crystal. The Crystal is available for some time.

Once per fight when either Hulk (Ragnarok) or his opponent hit 20% Health remaining, the crowd judges that fighter’s performance. If they feel they fought well, they give a Thumbs Up. If they feel they fought poorly, a Thumbs Down. Each judgement grants Hulk a Passive effect.

Thumbs Up: Regenerate 5060.91 Health on Hulk over 10 Seconds.

Thumbs Down: +1224.51 Attack for the rest of the fight.

I still don't understand how this works, I think this is poorly worded can Kabam explain this better?

Let me try this again. The Crowd Judges whichever Champion drops below the 20% Health Threshold. There is no way to 100% determine which boost you will receive, because the crowd is fickle. Based on whether the Judged Champion has landed more hits, they will get either a Thumbs Up (for landing more hits) or Thumbs Down (for landing less.) The bonus is still only applied to Hulk (Ragnarok).

So for example, you are playing as Hulk (Ragnarok) against Magik. You are playing very well, and push her below the 20% Threshold without taking any hits. She will be judged by the crowd, and likely get a thumbs down. This means that Hulk (Ragnarok) will gain the Fury Buff. On the other hand, if you're still playing very well, and Hulk is pushed below the 20% threshold, Hulk will be judged, and will likely receive a Thumbs up, and get the Regeneration.

The same applies if you're fighting against Hulk. Does this clear this up?

Are the attack boost/regen/etc numbers based on the max 4* version or the max 5* version?

Sweeeeet. I’m geeked. So much so, popped on two Grandmaster crystals. :)

    Those are 4-Star values.
    A 5-Star at Sig 200, and 5/65:

Thumbs Up: Regenerate 11848.66 Health on Hulk over 10 Seconds.
Thumbs Down: +2548 Attack for the rest of the fight.

I'm more interested in the crowd/smash attack value at max rank 5.

Will any of the characters that have synergies with Hulk be updated to have the same synergy with Hulk Ragnarok? Right now they don't. It is completely weird that Thor Ragnarok has synergy with regular Hulk and not Hulk Ragnarok.

It's very weird. Same thing with Hela.

He's my top champ for anyone who wants to check out his stats value. He is only max rank 3 though. IGN: Kado666
If you find someone max rank 4 let me know, I'd like to check stats out.

Yeah I think his synergies are screwed up right now, I hope its not intended.

Where I can report that I cannot log into the game, it shows problem with network but that’s a lie because everything else is working

I get its because of his SMASH! ability.

Kind of interesting/nit-picky but any insight into why his weapons have swapped hands for the in game model? Curious why it's different from all of the promo art, loading screen, etc.

@Kabam Miike thanks for the response ...ok when you say it won’t affect most degen from nodes you me face me won’t activste against say starburst and straight degen node like we used to have the old war

@Kabam Miike so regarding the passive damage over time debuffs..those that only include mephisto and Magik..what abt Dormammu degen

Dormammu's Degen is included. It's Debuffs that cause Damage Over Time that have the Passive Style icon. We also try and call out what is Passive in the ability descriptions.

Keep in mind that this won't affect most Degens from Nodes.

As far as I'm aware Magik's Limbo does not place a passive style icon on the target of the limbo damage. It sounds like you're saying if the damage comes from a passive buff on the attacker that damages the attacker's target, that counts as a passive damage debuff even though technically speaking, it is not a debuff on the target. This seems to stretch the definition of "debuff" to the point of being confusing to anyone familiar with the term.

So I took mine to R4 and have to say....very very disappointing

If I were you guys I'd skip him....150 hits vs WS in ROL and only took off 70% health before I quit.

And thats with an r4 5*.

So...that means about 200 hits to drop him. When did 200 hits with class disadvantage become “disappointing”?

To keep him in good damage range you have to keep the crowd close to 100%. Baiting specials with him really hurts his damage ability. Testing him in ROL really doesn’t show this as you don’t have to worry about a sp3.

The whole Face Me mechanic is pointless if it doesn't work against nodes... The only characters it works against are Magik, Dorm, and Mephisto.

And a whole unique synergy is wasted buffing it.

I don't understand why it wouldn't work against nodes or against things like Coldsnap. It most definitely should.

No 150 hits took off 30% health only so 450 to take off 90% of his health. Over 500 to drop him. I dont think his attack bonuses are working correctly.

Yeah it seems like it, fun to play but not a game changer. Above average tier.

Any chance we can get a full list of debuffs that will activate Face Me? There are so many random ones out there, like Black ISO or Life Transfer etc etc, I do not want to go test every last one myself to see.

    Known to trigger Face Me:
    Starburst
    Mordo's Soul Barb
    Mephisto's Aura of Incineration
    Magik's Limbo
    Dorm's signature degeneration

Known to NOT trigger Face Me:
    Bane
    Bleed
    Poison (cause he's immune)
    Coldsnap
    Frostbite

Does hulk get an unstoppable buff when he smashes or he just goes unstoppable without showing the buff
