I recently duped my symbiote Spiderman 4star . Should he be taken to r4? How good is he as an attacker/defender? Aq, Aw or questing , where should he be used?

if you use him well (heavy attack blah blah blah) he would tear everyone into pieces in no time. my 5* is good at Boss Killing in AQ/Questing but you could always have better options than him.
I prefer the "black suit" term. Ever played marvel ultimate alliance? The symbiote Spiderman was named black suit Spiderman there.
