What are your current effective AW defense strategies?

Since December when the pointing has changed what have been the most effective defensive strategies for your alliance? Most alliances we face don't focus on diversity at all since the points aren't very much. I realize it can depend a bit on the tier that you're in as well.

I tend to see a lot of spidey and NC with various champions on certain nodes such as Hyperion on power gain and Ultron on buffet.

Diversity becomes more of a factor in higher tiers because once you reach a certain level all alliances get full exploration

Spidergwen as SP1 mini boss, Khan as SP2 mini boss, Carnage on immunity mini boss, Joe Fixit as Main

Everything else doesn't matter because these 4 will shut everything down.

This is the kind of responses you're going to get on this thread mainly. People who plays in high war tier aren't going to disclose their strategies. That's what give them advantage over others. AW has become more competitive with introduction of Seasons, specially at higher level where you actually need a plan to win as many war as possible.

I think people who place non-diverse defenses are overlooking the fact that their diversity contributes to their season score and that defender kills do not.
