Just out of curiosity, what abilities did Thor have before 12.0? I really like using him right now but I've heard he was a lot more powerful before the 12.0 update.

To be specific, armor break prior to 12.0 was multiplicative, not additive. From 12.0 onward armor break has changed several times, but the bottom line is it is mostly additive.
Here's a very simple example to demonstrate the point. Ignoring flat stats and DR for now, what does 100% armor break do? It basically doubles your damage on the target. And that was approximately what Thor's armor break did in 11.x. Now, what happens if you stack two armor breaks? In 12.0, that would be triple damage (again we're ignoring DR for now just to make this simple). In 11.x, it would be *four* times the damage. As you stack breaks, in 12.0 the damage would go up like this: 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x. In 11.x, it would stack like this: 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x.

If you watch to the end, you'll see him manage to get seven armor break stacks in rapid succession using quick parries, then land a medium attack that hits for over 66,000 damage. And that attack didn't crit.
