    Sorry, didn't understand DOT as Damage over time.
    It can work as long you have brought a champion that does damage over time.

    I was under the impression only.dots applied thru specials worked
    Nope, I have black panther rank 4 5* and used him loads against power shield in act 5 (I think that’s where it was). Regardless, damage over time works in power shield, it’s only basic attacks that do 0

    damage over time not dependent on specials include: bleed, poison (abom), degeneration (duped dorm), energy (electro), soul bond detonation (dorm again), shock (nebula), etc - bleed will usually (slowly) do it though.
