Arena waste of time!!!!

I just felt the biggest disappointment in game, was trying to get doc octopus and I raffle manage to collect 1,6+mil when in meanwhile you have to do other things like, AQ AW or just quest plus I need to work in normal life or actually to have a life!!! So I found it really hard to keep up and really stupid even to try something like that again.
I do understand that are really many that playing the game so the competition is big.
My solution would be make it to a standard point and you will get the hero, just like that. Now for those who want and have the time, let them try harder and prove them selfs and as reward give them awaken gems or anything like that cause this is crazy and waste of time plus not everybody got enough heroes to pull out those scores or time!

Honestly, if you have more champs, scoring 2 mil gets pretty easy. You will need lots of 4 stars though @rank 3 and 4.

I have been playing about 4 months and score 1.7 mil each war just for milestones. It will get better bud, just keep going at it.

Yeah arena can get tedious but you have to grow your roster first. Even if Kabam were to make it so that you reach a certain score to get the champion the cutoff would be well over 2mil as that is too easy for too many people these days

I'm in vet league and I simply can't compete with others for getting the heroes, simply because I don't feel like wasting my life grinding arena for hours each day. Once you come to terms with that fact and stop caring, you realize just how stupid it was wasting time on arena. I'm still getting plenty of premiums/three/four star crystals from questing, alliance wars, and alliance events. The only time I focused on arenas was when I was in the beginner/intermediate bracket. I got a lot of duped three stars during that time.

Disclaimer: I'm a filthy casual who is content with slow progression, so what I said might not be applicable to you.

Focus on hitting as many milestones as you can in all of the arenas instead of going for the champ. This will net you a lot of gold, units and shards without the disappointment of missing an unknown target.

Buddy try getting more information bout arena before u grind blindly. Google it.
1. what bracket are u in (veteran I presume since u didn't get him @ 1.7m)
2. Are u aware there is arena infinity streak formulas? Learn it.
3. We all have a life. My whole alli are all working and married adults. We get champs from arena easily if the cutoff is within the 2m range if we want that champ.

Although, Round 1 was 2 Mil. Round 2 I thought I'd Grind for a safe one, and stopped at 2.2, thinking it would be fine. Didn't get him. Always a good rule of thumb. Overshoot. Lol.

Back in my day you could miss with 4-6 million after going up hill, in the snow, both ways.

Actually it's lowered a fair amount so far. We still have to see the results of a highly-sought Champ like Blade. Even still, before I would have predicted 7-8 Mil, but I have a feeling it may go to about 5-5.5 now.

cutoffs are way lower in basic now, without 6* in the game and 5* arena the cutoff would have been easy above 5 mio for a good champ like doc oct.
basic cutoffs cant drop that much lower, 1.5 is the final milestone and even the ones just going for the shards will go around 1.7-1.8 each time. happened more than once now i just went for the shards and landed in top 10%.

It sucks not getting the champ, but Kabam will never just give champs to anyone that plays arena. It would flood the game with top tier champs.

It seems like getting high numbers are impossible but it's not. I used to not be able to compete. But after growing my roster more I'm now able to get any 4 star basic I want. I still can't quite get a 4 star featured champ but maybe one day.

I work a full time job as most people do. But it's simply about having enough high prestige champs to make a big enough dent in one round of arena. I can put up about 700K in one round. This means with just 3 rounds of arena I can put up 2.1 million. I'm guessing your roster is not there yet to be able to do that but it will get there if you keep working on it.

With my roster I can roughly do about 150k and I do work a full time job plus family so free time ain't that much so with what I have to try and get any hero means I need to spend all my time in game.
And yes I do understand that now it's easier if what you guys said but still this is insane to spend all those hours for just a hero it is look INSANE to me.
Maybe kabbam should just make arenas according to your might and people with over that or lower than that couldn't join so you can only participating for one hero at a time!!

It feels that way at first, but it just takes time to build a Roster. The more Champs you get and the higher you Rank them, the more Points you will be able to make. It used to take me forever because I could only do 50-100k. Now I can do about 800k per Recharge and I don't run Suicides. Most of the time I do about half and don't use my 3*s because I'm running more than one Arena. Just put in as much time and Ranking as you can, and it will only get easier.

This game is called CONTEST of champions. That implies competition. All modes from this game except the solo story and event quests are meant to be a competition. Why remove that? Just because you missed a champion isn’t a good reason to remove the competition from arenas

yeah just grow your roster and you can make these 1.8m+ cutoffs and in the current state of the game i see the 4* basic cutoffs being between 1.8 mil and 2.375 mil not gonna be too bad just persevere i remember when the basic champs would go upwards of 3 mil depending on the champ this stuff is a cakewalk if you have the roster.

Playing arena makes hard to balance life specially Monday to Friday you have a fix life , I play to reduce work stress , get connected with alliance mates and have some fun fighting in AQ and AW. It’s true some people can manage time really well and those are exceptional also not everyone is busy. The only point is playing for fun or thrusting for growth. These are the two aspects of this game some settle with fun and some work hard for growth. In my opinion eventually everyone will grow some with slow pace and some will be faster. But if you find a decent active alliance, you will have a steady growth and you can balance your life and other things. Game is just a distraction to break the routine. If you make this game a routine.... well you know what will be the result.
