If you're going to correct somebody pretending to know what he's talking about, YOU at least be also correct. 'Thanos' is a PROPER noun so proper nouns ending in 's' only get an apostrophe. How do I know? Years of growing up with a name ending in 's'. "Thanos' Army" is the correct term.
if you're gonna correct somebody correcting somebody about a correction, at least know what you're talking about. It can be either way
Round 1:FIGHT!
Hi!
Since Thanos is singular, our style uses the apostrophe and an "s." If Thanos was plural, it would only use the apostrophe.
But I don't think anyone wants multiple Thanos. That's a scary thought. Or is it Thanoses? Or Thani? Hmm
Thanox,Maybe?
An actual error would be this. Should say your champions, not you champions.
Oh come on guys, who cares about the apostrophe s, THAT is a proper mistake ^
(But still it should be Thanos' Army lol)
Thanos's = correct
The latter is becoming archaic and far less common, but it is still grammatically correct. It is only acceptable for proper names. Any other noun already ending in -s should only get the apostrophe in its possessive form.
