Got stuck with one issue and due to that I’ve began to lost interest on this game. Please help!

My progress in champs advancement is going slow but stady. When I finally has gain enough items to upgrade my champs. 4* champs to R5, I got stuck! Should I upgrade the strongest champs? Or choose 5 champs that have a very good relation in synergy bonuses to upgrade them to R5? Or upgrade the Unduped 5* to R3 instead of upgrade 4* to R5? I want to upgrade my picked of five 4* champs to make a strong team but then those champs are not the strongest on the top of the best champs chart. Which option is more important? Due to that reason, I haven’t been upgrade any champ for more than a month now. And my items just sit there, expired and dissappeared. Please advice. Thanks in advance! ( Don’t get me started talking about 6*! Too fast! Many of us barely to finally made a good 4* portfolio and we are just about getting ready to create 5* portfolio, and 6* out of sudden jumped right in to the picture! )

Kabam team, something you guys should seriously talk about it before more and more players like me ( or just me? ) begin to lost interest and stop playing. Still, I want to thanks so much to Kabam team created this amazing game that I have been enjoying so much for past years! :’)

@Samusaca it's hard to answer that question without knowing what your options are. Definitely don't rank for synergy. Rank the best champs that will help you progress. Could be 4*s or 5*s depending. What are your options? Post screen shots if you like.

Upgrade the champs you are best with and wnjoy playing with the most. Don’t upgrade for synergies. Don’t upgrade for prestige, unless you’re in a high ranking alliance.

If you upgrade the champs you like the most you will stay more interested in the game and have a better time playing.

My top team - Gollitine, Electro, Venom, Civic Warrior ( all 4 with synergy bonuses tie ) and the 5th Champ is interchangeable either Crossbone or Wolverine depending on the challenge route. I have 12 - 4* R4 and 2 - 4* R5 and the rest of my 4* still R3.
I have accumulated enough items to upgrades one 4* comic champ to R5, ( Venom is my picked but he is not one of the strongest on the chart ) and one 4* Mystic champ ( Gollitine is my picked ) to R5 or bring 5* Unduped Dr. VooDoo to R3. Concerned I might upgraded the wrong champs. Although you guys have adviced me to upgrade the ones I like to play the most. But, all these God tie, semi God Tie Meh tie charts created and posted by advanced players online has made me very undecisive on the pick of the champs to upgrades.

Like people have said, it depends what your want. If your focus is solo play, then ignore what the guys have said above about synergies - they can be very important.

For a long time my 4/40 questing team was Captain America WW2, Wolverine, Winter soldier, Guillotine and Civil Warrior. All decent if not godly champs alone; but as a team, their synergies gave them an additional 1000 armour rating in every fight!

Some of the unique synergies are even better. Don't upgrade for synergies? Then how to explain the Blade/Spark/GR 'Holy Trinity'?

On the other hand, some champs are so powerful and versatile that synergies are less relevant. Also they don't work in some aspects of the game (alliance questing/war) so people who prioritise that aspect of gaming see them as less important.

So: tell us who you are, show us your champs, and explain what your priorities are with those champs (Story/Event quests; Act 5/getting Uncollected; RoL/LOL; AW/AQ) and you'll probably get more advice than you can handle.

Thanks for your advice. It’s very helpful!
I joined alliance for good few months but too stressful for me.
Arena? Sometimes.
Quest? Mostly events quests.
My skilled? able to complete Master first chapter only.
Doesn’t really play those advance quests, not confident and I have anxiety fight with champ that has very high pi.

Angela is considered one of the best cosmic, some healing and very heavy hits, she gets furies and lots of critical hits, to use her use heavies, (parry then heavy) and l1s (try wait till nearly at l2, use l1 then combo l1 again, this builds furies. I would recommend r5ing her, and guilotine is good but I would probably do dr voodoo, use his l1 when you have an even number combo, saying that guilotine is good for war and fighting any healers so if you like her style won’t hurt to stick with her

Thank you all for the very useful advices and tips! I think I will go for 5 of my favourite champs that has synergy bonuses tied to each other. I am a solo player after all. Best to build a strong team for Quests.
