**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Well considering cap is a new champ a lot are gonna go for him, but nightcrawler can still be an annoying defender for some so I would guess maybe 2.4 at most.

I would guess It'll be about the same too, but wouldn't stop at 2.4.

Wouldn’t stop if you want the champ there’s no worse feeling in the game where you go to the what it should go for just to be one of the ones that just miss it

I put up 3.8 or something stupid for WS a while back to dupe him. cutoff was probably a million or more less.

The point is, if you want it you have to go hard otherwise you run the risk of missing out and knowing you could've put a few more runs through the roster.

I normally look at predicted cutoffs and decide firstly, can I do it comfortably and second, how much more than that am I prepared to put in to guarantee it.

Nightcrawler is an old champ and old champs range from 1.8m to around 2.2m if you wanna be safe for him 2.5m all but guarantees getting him

2 mil will probably get him, 2.5 mil is good, 3.5 will be guaranteed

I'd say 2.8-3.2, but when in doubt, Grind more.

Exactly. That said, 1.9 million is my bet. Maybe even 1.7 million considering Cap is featured.

But to answer OP's question, Anything over 2 million is overkill.
