I agree. But it should not work on things like Dexterity evade and block.
yes as i said i realised why i suddenly dropped dead from 21%.....
that is not the point here.....
the point is you have a damn near perfect fight......
you try and dex a heavy cus you really dont have any other option and then lose 50% of your life......
yes i ran in and hit her block and died.....
but if my dex didnt fail then the rest of the fight is a differens scenario....
are you really standing up and saying that domino causing dex to fail is ok????
i posted my 6* v 6* and crit failure on a dex trying to escape a heavy and then getting badly screwed....
Is this legit? Kabam please confirm that you won't weaken her after the event quest.
I want to buy her. Whale out. Sick offense and defense abilities. But I need to know you aren't going to weaken her after the month is up and say stuff like "she was never intended to pull off this kind of damage and you knew better" as you have before.
Please confirm.
I think the catchphrase for everything in this game is clearly “caveat emptor.” They’ve always had the ability under their TOS to change the game at will, but they’ve exercised forbearance at times in the past. Most of those instances came in the face of game upheaval and heavy customer dissatisfaction. Although the game team may have grudgingly backed off, they backed off nonetheless.
Those same forces don’t seem to be effective counters anymore. Why is anyone’s guess. But—the position the team appears to have taken is that any purchase, any champ, and rankup is done entirely at your own risk. Changes that adversely affect champs can now be cloaked under the category of “performance improvements” or “unintended effects”—thereby removing any responsibility for restitution.
Short answer: I would expect Domino’s abilities to stay the same as long as she is able to produce revenue. Once she’s run that cycle, she’s fair game for an “adjustment.”
Dr. Zola
They've covered pretty useless stuff for a long time, like "Tech champions are good against Mutants" and I've wondered about suggesting they get updated.
I thought I knew them all: So when did this one show up? Is it recent?
I ask here because it seems it could be relevant to our newest champion, Domino.
my constructive criticism of course is - nerf her or add adjustments (since you stated you can quickly like you did with sentry) to older champs so we can have more champs to use. dont just keep making new OP champs and keep old champs around that are outdated and can still be obtained in 5* crystals
Finally was able to get this to embed. AA gets wrecked by critical failure.
Is that since domino was hit with a special attack or hit the opponent with a special attack?
Very interesting. This is probably the first tip that is actually insightful, kinda strange that they only added it now
Meph with Dorm synergy has 80% energy resistance when taking damage over time, maybe he can kill her, especially with the heal in reserve.
why u giving wrong info. That's node damage, not her. After 5 armour buff, it explode and cause huge damage. Just don't hit on block then it will be ok. Also u take heavy from her.
People complained about the interaction between dexterity and MD reagarding Magik. Not Magik herself. Also she can be countered with AA reduction.
Domino is a different beast altogether.
lol, we're here now because of that one small issue.
Kabam refused to fix dexterity so mystic wars ran rampant. They refused to listen to their players and fix dexterity and instead came out with Blade and made millions of dollars. Unfortunately, they were very short sighted on the mystic issue and didn't think about how Blade would interact with the rest of their content.
Now they were screwed. All of their biggest whales had spent small fortunes to get Blade and ranked him to r5. They knew they would see a worse backlash than 12.0 if they nerfed Blade directly so they started thinking of ways to indirectly nerf him with their new champs. First, they released three villains but didn't give them the villian tag (Sabertooth, Proxima, Glave) but that wasn't enough.
They had to step up their game because even w/o the villian tag, Blade still rolled over those three champs. Now the whole game is stuck with two champs in IMIW and Domino that are completely broken, that were made to specifically counter Blade.
I fear for what they'll have to do in the future to counter these two disasters.
the failed dexterity that happens which causes me to cop the heavy.....
not the final damage that kills me....
watch it again @Imran
Although saying that, mark my words that if Domino does prove to be a terror on AW defence there will be a champ eventually that has a cool new ability that is “this champion enables immunity to abilities that affect their masteries and their ability accuracy”.
"abilities of this champ can never fail"
Other points- people are very concerned that domino prevents dexterity from working, but remember that this hinges on being unlucky. Therefore a great way to counter her is to either use tech champs, or power control. This is yet another situation where quake is once again an excellent choice. Any other none-skill ability accuracy reducers will also work nicely. This is also not the first champ with this ability- sentinel and void both reduce dexterity.
In my opinion, the worst aspect of domino is that mastery triggers critical failure. Certain masteries by themselves (namely parry, dexterity, syg) I think are fair game for critical failure. but stuff like perfect block should not count, due to the fact that it already has a miniscule chance of occurring.
