Something went wrong while ranking up... anyone else have this problem?

Ok... So I was ranking up my Dr. Voodoo. Nothing odd right? Then I saw he was 4K! And I was so happy. Then I went to use him in a quest, but he was now 3.5k. I honestly have no words. That took a lot of ISO and gold. Sadly, I have no proof. I know I won’t be refunded or given that 1k back but I want other people to know

    If you fought a Science champ in the quest, his PI will drop due to class disadvantage. Conversely, his PI increases whenever he fights a Cosmic champ due to class advantage.
    Also if you had any attack or health boosts on at any point, his PI will be higher for the duration of the boost.

    @Addyos I was not fighting anyone, nor did I have any boosts active.

    PI is largely meaningless anyway
