GR fate seal not working

On master difficulty eq 3.2 sym spidey is triggering his evade buff while under GR fate seal. No mention of evade being passive and fate seal has stopped this in the past.

    Where is it stated that it is passive? It’s usually explicit in the description.

    You can also look at the buff and see that it's passive or pause and see it

    It doesn’t matter if it’s passive, as GR’s ability description says it nullifies ALL buffs, not ACTIVE buffs...

    That's the point of it being passive.... counter to nullify

    Funny note on that, Loki can steal Symby Spidey's or NC's evade buff. True story.

    Most champs that nullify, counterspell, whatever, buffs, the description always says ALL buffs because those descriptions were written BEFORE the notion of passive or active buffs. They changed the meta but never went back and changed the descriptions.

    Not exactly true. They are passive buffs, just like things like AA's neurotoxins are passive debuffs. They're just not active. Passive or active buffs and debuffs were an attribute added later in the game. Point being, they are still buffs and debuffs but act differently and are not able to be removed or nullified.
