Help ranking up

I have been playing for 8 months straight and starting to see the fruits of my labor but I need some help in strategy on who to upgrade.

I still fully do not understand who is best for what. I have been ranking up 4 stars cause I couldn’t really get the 4 catalyst but I’m going to reach almost 3 of each soon and my question is should I rank up the 4 stars I have or a 5 star ?

Really would love any help and info on my guys.

I would say keep ranking up your 4 stars. Besides your top champs, Rogue and Hawkeye are also great champions. They should be enough to help you clear more content to get better 5 stars.

@ZADO1991 thanks for the reply. Can you explain why you say that. I just want to understand. Wouldn’t a 5 star be more powerful than a 4 star ranked ?

What I mean is I have a solid 6-7 players I can use at all times so wouldn’t it be better to try and rank up the 5 star champs since they are the ones I use? Am I doing something wrong ? @ZADO1991

5 stars are stronger because they have more potential and better stats. You can stay competitive and clear lots of contents with r5 4 stars. Meanwhile, champions like she hulk or spider Gwen are bad five stars you would never take them past r2, most of the time they just stay at r1. RR and og spidey are a little better, but Dr.voodoo and quake are just godly and they will help you more with fewer resources spent

Yeah I agree that the 5 star champs aren’t particularly good, you’re going to be able to upgrade your 4 stars higher than your 5 stars right now because the resources are hard to come by or at least takes very long.
Your voodoo, quake, rouge, hawkeye and wolverine are good champs, I would focus on making them better.
