When is a good time to go for my first featured 5* crystal?

I currently have 11 5* and I was wondering if it would be a good time to go for one. I currently have some good 5* like blade, rulk, hela, goblin, and star-lord that are all unduped. I'm considering it because of how good the pool is and I'm currently looking for a valid rank 4 option, but im not a great fan of any of the ones I have without the dupe. If I get any of the featured 6 or some of the basics, they would be one that I would consider. Thanks

I'm surprised no one has commented on this.... I dont know if my opinion is valid, but I have 25 5* and have never opened the featured 5*. I always felt like the basic pool was decent enough to not bother with the extra 5k shards.

never. I really dont recommend opening featured ones. I opened 2 of those (one this and last month)
last month I got kamala khan
this month I duped my iron patriot
maybe I just have horrible luck but Im never going for another featured
if you dont mind getting the same thing go ahead

always go basic cause youre not gonna be happy if you spent 15k 5* shards to get a KK whos in the featured crystal.
better save 5k from disappointment and go basic 10k

Comes down to if you think the gamble is worth it, If you grind arena then any 5* is extra points to help out, especially in t4b\t1a arena, then basics are better as they are cheaper. If your looking for a better shot a game changer champs that will help get you through the hardest content then a feature could be better.

Some people are just really luck with feature crystals an some are really unlucky, unless you open some you won't know. Personally my luck is terrible, went 2\24 on the old style 5* feature, this batch I opened 4 so far an got hela x2, colossus and WS., All bad pulls. But I will keep opening them in the hopes of a great pull.
