Does anyone know why JF sometimes does not trigger a "Gambler's Fate" effect at the beginning of a fight?

LOL... I imagine nobody noticed. JF doesn't get much love from the community.

I will watch for that. I 99.9% of the time open with a block so I don't think it happened here. You think getting parried by someone who has pacify would negate it? I'm going to try to replicate. Thanks for the insight.
