On topic: compensation issues aside, this appreciation week is trash just on its own merits. I wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of decent-valued deals popped up during the week, but who cares? Even if it's a t4b for $5 why would I want to waste it on a game that's broken run by a company that clearly doesn't value me?
In light of the fact that Lyra appears to be the only one calling the appreciation a form of compensation, one of the overriding questions is whether she misspoke. Guidance appreciated.

I know as long as the money keeps rolling in your a-ok with the backlash, but hopefully as customers we will begin to vote with our dollars soon.

I understand there may be confusion here and want to clarify and confirm again for everyone. Lyra’s statement earlier in the thread is correct and the Summoner Appreciation Gift that is included in the Summoner Appreciation week is the compensation for issues in 19.0 previously discussed on the forums. I hope this is clear for you all now. As always, we welcome and thank you for your constructive feedback both about the gift and the event.
Only this much for 2 months pathetic months? 1 for iOS and 1 for Android. Plus server downtimes and the recent AQ issue too? I would suggest to look back at last year's appreciation first. That was for a full month. So there won't be gold realm, that is confirmed. Good going sir thank you for your compensation 😂.
Well I would like to take this time to say ‘thank you’ to kabam for this amazing ‘compensation’, I really think it does cover all issues the entire community experienced!! Lol
You have 13 pages of feedback, but almost zero responses to it. We talk, but either (a) no one listens or (b) no one cares or (c) the officials for the company are hoping we just take it on the chin. This is trash. We know it. You know it. As mods, we know it’s not your fault as you are just the messengers. Would be great if you could be our advocates back to the team and let them know how utterly ridiculous the package is. You are going to lose players, and more important to the company, spenders due to decisions like this.
After all the BS we have put up with over the last couple of months this is what we get from a company which is worth Millions let’s not forget....The community have been patient and they have stuck by you through all this BS and this is how you repay them 😂 you may as well include a middle finger with everyone of them “Appreciation Gifts” because effectively that’s what we are getting! It’s not compensation it’s a joke!

Doesn't solve the bigger issue though with all the missed out events & wars & grinds that were not possible because of overheating issues, hence the loss of tons of rewards that people would have gotten if Kabam didn't break the game.
I think you guys need to talk it out some more, since, from everything we have read so far, this compensation is basically only a very, very small portion of what everyone lost.
100% agree. We do not accept this pathetic attempt at "compensation". Take the MCoC team a message from the 99% and tell them to try again.
