Simple question. Does kabam’s appreciation event make you feel appreciated after being patient through some of the most turbulent game play in mcoc history?

Kabam just give us shards and maybe we’ll continue playing. Perhaps 4000 5* shards

Hell no. It's a slap in the face weekly. Game shut down nearly every day for 10 days a couple weeks ago and over heating made it unplayable and destroyed some devices. Not to mention the fact that last year they did a Summoner's Appreciation MONTH for no reason other than we play and some pay. Now they "give" us only a week then on top of that slap in the face they call it compensation for game issues. In what world is that called APPRECIATION?!?! Hey sell me another 4500 t5 frags for $100 that was incredibly generous.

That's entirely possible on the actual Thread opened on the subject. It doesn't have any more impact to keep opening new ones.

I love the game, but right now I hate Kabam. And it would take a LOT more than this to make me feel appreciated, and that's without even considering any compensation for the last six weeks of horrible **** that's been thrown our way.

5x 6star heroes per day for a month?
Every day same old bs, people complaining about stuff. If you don’t like the game just don’t play it. Very simple.

That's just it. I'm not convinced anything would be enough. People spent so much time making lists and expecting grand amounts of Shards that anything else is seen as a slap in the face.

Pretty sure 1000 Shards isn't the only thing they're giving. Also, it hasn't been 2 months, not for everyone at least.

Agreed if they think this is appreciated it's not we don't care about free things it's just we are mad since this compensation is to do about the last month's issue which it doesn't cover it of all these issue and time we missed last month

The compensation they gave out realistically accounts for maybe 2 or 3 server outages. I'm still waiting on the compensation for the sh*tshow that was update 19.0.

This is spot on...

The entire incident feels like one attempt after another to avoid responsibility for a broken update. No in-game messaging, little to no official forums messaging about steps to take re: overheating, an initial statement that pointed to iOS 11.4 devices as “the worst offenders,” long stretches in early July with little to no communication on the issue, previous overheating complaints on other devices...

The same community that’s being criticized by some for being greedy had no problem answering the clarion call for beta volunteers or continuing to post the requested device/OS incident report info over and over despite getting few updates from the team for weeks. That doesn’t appear greedy to me.

And now, six weeks after the problem began, we get an Appreciation event that is a shell of previous such events, while the team offers up a roundabout clarification that “the Summoner Appreciation gift that is included in the Summoner Appreciation week is the compensation...”

Is it any wonder why people aren’t satisfied?

While the game goes down an unacceptably high percentage of the time (check some recent @DNA3000 posts for thoughts on that), the 19.0 meltdown is far, far more than a little outage. I understand how unjustified complaining can get annoying, but there is a massive difference in this case.

I also think it’s safe to say at least several of the names I recognize on here who have legitimate issues with the lack of accountability for 19.0 don’t “suck” at the game.

I really do like the game, it has some awesome facets about it, but the plethora of server issues, IOS overheating problems, and Kabam’s inability to properly fix and accommodate these issues is getting too much for me.
