You just have to rank him before selling him. Then you get more than you would've with a dupe. Let me get this straight, you want me to put iso, gold, and other resources into a champ to sell. Just to get iso? Also you're missing out on the fact that you'll never get a max sig crystal for that champ and that, there is one less champ to use in arenas.

There are a few counter arguments to this: Kabam has previously given out compensation based on summoner rating. I missed out on their top package by 5,000 points. that one hurt. I may be wrong here, but if I remember correctly, for a 4* to be sold for more shards than you could get from max sig, you have to r3 them. This requires t1a which depending where you are in the game can be a hot commodity. In addition to the previous point, you need gold for all this. And again, depending where you are at in the game, gold can be a hot commodity. Completely true. I'm just pointing out that as a universal maxim, "never sell champs" doesn't hold up. You know you get shards when you sell a champ right? and he isn't "missing out" on the max sig crystal. duping champ 275 shards selling r3 champ 425 shards I forget what the number is, but in the "never sell any champ" strategy you have to pull the champ many many times before you will catch up to the rank and sell method. That's what he means by getting more than you would've with a dupe. IF you struggle with gold, iso or t1a Selling champs isn't in your wheel house and won't benefit you. .
