There’s a couple champions that have an immunity to telepathic control
-Storm
-Rouge
-Gambit
-Cable
-Magik
-Daredevil
-Kingpin
-And sorta Wolverine (He’s in telepathic inmunity training)

Is not a "it should be" case. This game doesn't follow/happen in Marvel Universe, it happens in a different Universe called The Battlerealm.
So the characters are not the same and they are in the Marvel Universe. You could say they have the same look and some of the powers, but they are different
