Lag is real bad - so aim for Gambit or 500 4* shard?

Unlikely can compete on next basic due to lag and time constraints; so I should go for 1/ or 2/ ?

Did not compete in Round 1 and current have 700 4* shards.

Round 1. Gambit went for 1.6m.
