**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.
Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Do you all think it's fair to be taking 7k Damage without reason every 30s? Like seriously Kabam, this isn't fair, straight up nonsense imo.

So basically, without 5* R4 champs or better, or a good deal of revives/pots, you can’t clear this node? Cool. Way to make this inclusive to “any summoner above level 40”.
I don’t typically complain about enemy difficulty, but this fight is a pure unit grab. I wound up using an energy refill to get through the path, I’m pretty mad about running into this greed bot at the end of the second quest.
Cue the “git good, I did this with 3/30 3* champs” derpery any moment now.
But in order to rank it up you need to fully explore some difficulties first, so that can't be the case
You get strands from occult labs and lower level EQ. So it is possible.
Think cap IW with the right synergy can cut the damage in half
Think ghulk can heal back 70%
But still it are very huge amounts of damage I wonder if this was calculated correctly and meant to have this effect ....
Usually Kabam days there are ways around it ... but I can’t see a way around it just 2 ways of maybe lowering the blow a bit ....
My top champion is dupped 5star gladiator hulk at rank 4. The damage dealt is direct and not passive, so he can't heal at all.
Then it's not the appropriate difficulty for you NBD.
There are 4 others for that reason.
I'm surprised no one has figured it out yet.
MONEY!!
What champ did you use to pull off 95k damage in 30 seconds? I’d love to know, since most of my damage dealers rely on some debuff or DOT.
You realize that this quest was touted as being “accessible” to any player over level 40, right? And that epic difficulty was released this month for players who aren’t Uncollected?
I don’t think that this is a matter of “not appropriate difficulty for you”. It’s more a matter of a poorly balanced enemy. Maybe it’s a breeze with the right champ, or the right champ with the right synergy. Or the right champ, with the right synergies with 2 champs.
But it shouldn’t be an issue where you have to have specific champs to clear the 2nd chapter. If it was the 3rd, fine, but this is a pretty blatant unit/resource grab.
I’m not even sure what champs would be best here, maybe blade, maybe Corvus, maybe proxima? But I don’t personally have any of those champs, and my main questing team got decimated by this adaptoid. Not because I lack in skill, but because I can’t pull off 95k of damage in 30 seconds, so I suffered 16,800 points of unavoidable direct damage.
