**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Alliance War Tanking Off Season Needs to be fixed

What will Kabam do about the blatant tanking during off season? Sure they’re losing shards now but they’re investing into the season so they can match against lower tier alliances to smash them. [insert kabam comment about breaking the spirit of the game or whatever they said]. This needs to be addressed already. If Kabam is okay with this then just sell war decay items on the unit store and make some money off this at least. Someone bring GW in here.

    They won't acknowledge this issue....ever.

When an alliance commits to a search they should be committed to play.

Just a waste of champs being locked in a mode that becomes a waste of time when I can be using them in other game modes.

Spirit of the game is the unwritten rule of the contest. Kabam need to penalise. If alliances want a lower war rating they should get a lower multiplier too for the season.

What happen when both alliances have empty maps and both finish 100%? Is that a tie? Lol

You cant coordinate it though. You just have to hope they others do it.

Tanking isnt against the rules as it's not in the ToS. Is it generally viewed as a negative. Yes but not illegal.

Which I do agree if you see my other responses in a similar thread, but I never considered a double tank situation like this one until now. Going into attack phase with empty maps actually allow the alliances to collude during the attack phase (by getting a tie) arguably that will be illegal.

If you didn’t want to tie just don’t explore as much as the other team if both teams didn’t want to place a defense that is

You miss the point... Both teams want the tie (both places empty map). So their war rating will drop aka tanking

An unwritten rule is not a rule. It would be silly to punish someone for that. If they want to prevent it, then make it a rule and enforce it.

Hmm... Maybe my ally can capitalize by tanking IN-season & racking up off-season mwaauhahaha.... Wait...

This would totally explain why we were getting crushed last season tho... I mean... There's no way my alliance just actually sucks.... Right?

Off-season gonna off-season. That said, it is a bit surpising to see such ‘unspirited competition’ from thou holiest of holy alliances 😂

Going into attack phase with empty maps on both sides, and both alliances “try their best” and 100% both maps with 0 deaths. How is this considered collusion? Lol

That's assuming both will actually 100% both map. If only 1 alliance 100% (or higher % than the other alliance) the map or if someone moved even one tile the other team tanks. Just saying there's potential.
