Bring back 5 Star Selling

Since we have six star champs now it has become easier to obtain 5 star shards. We should be able to sell our 5 stars to obtain six star shards. The reason they took it was it was harder to get 5 star shards but it’s so much easier now. I open the most ever this month which was 3. First time I have ever done that. Now I’m about 400 shards away from my first six star. If I could sell the loads of **** 5 stars I have I could have a 6 star champ. I mean look at this excluding star lord these two rows are **** and could be worth at least 1000 six star shards selling 9 of them. What do y’all think should we be allowed to sell them?

I would sell 10 5 stars for 2750 shards

I have 40 5 stars I never use not even for arena. I play with my team of 15 rank 4’s

I would sell 4* like Groot, Colossus or Gambit but I wouldn't sell any 5*. Too valuable for arena.

of my 45ish 5*s I use 4, still wouldn’t sell the rest for some shards, would rather run them through arena 6 times for some 6* shards here and there

Nah.

I'd rather play the game and grind for 6* shards to expand my roster, instead of looking for shortcuts like selling champs that will hinder my progression. Back to the game I go.

One of the big reasons we removed the ability to sell them was the number of folks acccidently selling them when they intended to sell a champion of a different star rating. In order to avoid that happening, we disabled selling them. However, though we don't have plans to reinstate that into the contest, we will share your feedback with the team on it for consideration.

It's never a good idea to sell many champs for some shards, especially for folks that don't grind arena. When you do get the dupe, you will appreciate the ISO and shards then. The ISO can help you in 2 ways - level up or sell for gold.

Some of those champs are better than my five stars: KK and IP. I would willingly take any of those.

I have never sold a champion. It is far more lucrative in the long run to keep them. Over time, by duping them, you will gain far more than 1,000 6* shards. 275 per dupe, plus you still retain all of your champions. More resources = faster progression. You also may just pull a Deadpool X-Force as a 6*, in which case you have set your account back by months.

In addition, some of these champs may have a unique utility and/or synergy at some point down the road that will help you easily clear otherwise difficult content. They may also receive an awesome buff (Carnage, Venom, Luke, etc.) You’ll wish you had them.

Also, at some point you may find yourself wanting to grind for a particular champion, and you will need as many 5* as you can get.

I would never sell a champion for the simple fact that I like to collect all of them. Either way, you gain more by keeping them, and will acquire 6* at a faster rate by keeping them. Plus, you will get more iso, which means more gold, which means more ranked up champs.

My dear friend, I do not care 2 cents about prestige or rating. I have 2 5/65 and like 8 4/55. My prestige is 8500 fyi and it is irrelevant. I only play AQ for fun. Thanks.
