doctor voodoo?

i want to get past 5.2 and am wondering if doctor voodoo is a viable option, if so does he NEED to be duped or can i use him just for his poison.

    100% needs to be duped. He was okay, but not very good for 5.2.3-4 because of his buffs and debuffs. Not really good against the collector since it takes him a while to do any damage, plus he could just tenacity all of it. DV is phenomenal, just not for the last half of 5.2
