I am really close to getting my first five star(800 shards away) and I wanted to know which is a better option; featured crystal or regular five star crystal? Please comment why and reasoning as it would be a great help

    Regular is the best option for newer players as they'll build up ur 5* roster faster.

    Ask yourself this question: Is featured worth it? It costs 5000 more shards than a regular, or half of a five star crystal. Most of the time people get bad champs AND waste 5000 shards.
    So, you can get a featured and be happy/sad
    Or you can get 1.5 Basic Five Stars and have the same feeling

    Because this is your first 5*... go with the basic. Build up your roster of 5* first. For every 2 featured, you could have 3 5*.

    Regular 5* crystal undoubtedly. The featured will set you back far unless you get a god tier champ. Though, if you decide to get the featured, this month is the best time. More good champs than bad.

    For a new player, definitely for the basic. At this point, any 5* will help your progression, even a crappy one. Besides, there are a lot more "god tiers" in the basic than the featured. Even if you did go for the featured and get some god tier champ, you just wasted half a crystal, and you likely don't have enough resources to rank them highly.

    Better to pull a bad champ from 10k shards than a bad one from 15k.
