    Something that all levels of players will get so nothing gaurunteed above a 3* champ....

    if you're an end-game player with a good roster of 5*/6* champs, yeah, it's worthless. I have multiple 4* generic AGs that serve no use for me. This would be a gift for a subsection of the player base while another group would get almost no value.

    The OP said he hoped it was an AG. That's not worthless to him. Regardless, they still have a value. Even if people can't use them.

    Me thinks you're intentionally misrepresenting value v worth. Something may have a "value" but still be "worthless". If you have currency from a nation that no longer exists it has a "value" but no "worth".

    And in terms of the game, an item to use on a champ that you have no use for in the game (save maybe a synergy, for which AGs mean nothing)is, altogether now, worthless.

    End game players are probably 5 percent of the player base if that.
