Would Crossbones shut down his regeneration at all?
He's good for the spiked armour node but doesn't deal nearly enough damage

Thanks, just thought he might because he can stop Wolverine and Ultron from doing it
(1) Use a champ that outdamages the regen.
(2) Use a champ that reverses the regen.

I just need to play better with my 4/55 MODOK when he's not in defence.
I was trying to think of alternatives
I used 4/40 4* Void (not well at first, mind you) and ran R4 Blade for cleanup. Worked well nearly every time, except for user error. And an exceptionally passive RHulk that regenerated a ton standing in the corner against Blade.

No, and it’s not because the regeneration is passive as one person mentioned. It’s because CB only bypasses defensive ability accuracy and aggressive regeneration is not defensive or offensive in nature. It’s just an ability. CB bypasses Ultron’s and Wolverine’s because they’re defensive abilities (regeneration triggers when hit). You could try using general ability accuracy reduction champs like Domino and AA or use one of many heal block champions like Yondu, IMIW, Gulk, CW, Proxima, Punisher 2099, Doc Oc, etc.
