Recommended alliance search function not working

Before, if u were in the alliance search area and hit the search button without any info inputted, it would give a list of “recommended alliances”. A few days ago this function stopped working. Now it just says no alliances found.
This was a source of filling open spots without having to recruit on forums. Is this something known and being fixed?
