Night thrasher

Hey folks, I just pulled a 5* night thrasher yesterday.
I have already played around with him a little bit and read both his description and his spotlight, so I don't want you to do any thinking for me.

My question is preferably aimed towards those who have him awakened and use him. But please feel free to share your thoughts on him anyways.

Main thing: I see how he unlocks much of his potential by getting awakened. So much, at least as I interpret it, that he doesn't seem to have much use without it.
So, how powerful can this boy get exactly? Excluding his tasty synergies for a moment, just him with his sig ability.
I currently have him at r2 (couldn't resist because of his smooth animations and because - let's face it - he looks cool af).
Is he bench material or should I aim to awaken him?

    If i dont think i cant form an opinion. Just sayin.

    He is good and fun.
    He looks amazing.

    I find his main uses to be his caiw and gr synergies.
    Therefore would not rank him past r3 and not use a gem on him.

    He is fun but not good enough to justify those resources

    Phew... Not trying to be rude here, so let me say this slowly: if you want to be pedantic, at least try to say something remotely intelligent, okay?
    "Not doing any thinking FOR ME" as in "doing MY thinking FOR ME" as in "could you give me a detailed description of what this character does and how to use him?"

    Thanks for your opinion. Would have been nice to know whether or not your night thrasher is awakened, but okay.
    Probably spent more time misunderstanding the first part of my thread than reading the second part.

    He is awakened.
    His sig is only slightly useful if you want help baiting.
    It can give you furies but they make a small boost only to your sig unless he is high sig and you stack a few its not much at all.

    His sig is not that great. Useful yes. But not gem worthy
