Gr vs hype

I'm sure this has come up before, but my search didn't give me an easy answer. So fighting hyperion with ghost rider, use sp1, trigger fate seal, hypes power gain buff stays, and he procs another. Why is this happening? I know the pg buff isn't passive, and hoods stagger works on it fine.

  • Need more details on the fight bro, what nodes were on? are you certain fate seal triggered? cause unless you have blade, gr's abilities are not at 100% guarantee

    ^^^ more details pls.

    GR Fate seal should work
  • Seal triggered, the debuff was visible, and I did have my trinity going. It's the hype on master eq 3.2.2, so only nodes are warning and iso.
  • No issues for me as far as i know. Maybe try again?
  • I'll try again on my next run, but it's happened before too.

Now I've done it a couple more times and I've got fate seal working correctly and incorrectly for no visible reason

No idea man, it truly looks like a bug that somehow only works on you. Maybe just double check if there was an update you missed, though its quite unlikely.

Since this is EQ, Hyperion shouldn't have assassin mastery, that's the only possible explanation I could think of.

Think that node says is immune to fate seal,

I don't think master difficulty has that node?

Only time I see that is if hype has power gain when you first set fate seal. His next power gain will activate. Fate seal when he has no power gain and not at the same time.

I tried it in master mode also, I activated fate seal while power gain was ongoing. It cancelled the existing power gain and prevented the next one from activating like its supposed to.
