this has 2 effects.
1. ghost's can't use that as an opening to land hit's anymore.
2. you can use it to intercept or bait specials in a way that you couldn't previously.
You may troll a casul, but i come from Dark Souls competitive PVP, i could tell if an AI sneezes half a microsecond earlier with 2 duels.
Your AI is a mess after update. And even for a non keen eye, if what used to work before doesnt anymore then AI recovers faster.
I had 24 fight vs a spark where i opened the duel with a sp1 boost. parried and ista used sp1 like ALWAIS, and he autoevaded while still stunned. Which shouldnt ever happen. Means the AI recovers and act PAST even debuffs or attack animations, exactly like groot used to parry specials while still on "being hit" animation in the past.
If you wanna have a laugh, try use sp1 with Hulk. You will notice that any cast after a 5 hit combo not being with opponent walled will be blocked.
Same issue with ironman sp2
Get a grip, and patch this mess, we went from an easy won war to risking to losing due to ghost, in this istance.
Adding more and more reason for players to quit ain't a good advertize.

After first miss, Groot immediately dexes back. I’ve never seen that before prior to this weeks patch.
This new AI behavior is specific to Ghost as far as I am aware. As if the opponent is now aware of the phasing. If that’s the case, then what’s the point of the short 2 sec window.
The answer seems to be yes, it has, there is enough video evidence of this now.
So, while it may not have been tuned specifically for ghost, it has indeed changed.

1) She is now much less safe to use, if you try to counter any hit other than the opponent’s initial dash attack or some special attacks, she will instead be evaded or parried when she previously could counter attack combo hits safely.
2) Being forced to counter attack the first hit the enemy throws reduces the effectiveness of her signature ability by 2 to 5 times. She can no longer reliably count on the enemy comboing into her phasing, meaning you can’t use her enemies’ misses to trigger her signature ability as often as you could before the 22.0 update.
