There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.
Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

I still remember the reaction post 12.0. I remember how you guys acknowledge that you should listen to the player base.
The player base has spoken. We are not ready to bury our 4*s!!
This whole game has a fundamental basis in **building a roster**, which means acquiring the most powerful champs now, AND using lesser *s to fill in gaps for synergy or champ utility, where RNG has not favored us, to accomplish tasks/complete content. I would say that is one of MCOC's most appealing features (that we love), as with any collection based game. We take pride in what we have built, and get the sense of continued value from past effort in building up the roster. You want to remove that from significant, upcoming content eagerly awaited by your player base. (Sure, the gate doesn't apply to all content, but if anything, this one would be most significant.)
From the vast majority of player's POV, there isn't anything appealing about a game design that removes that fundamental appeal in such a broad sweep in forward moving content. Some may be indifferent, and even less, accepting.
Kabam, did you really expect players to jump up and down with excitement over the 4* gate?!!! Seriously!
What player is saying to themselves, "Wow, what a great decision. I wish I would have thought of not using any lesser *s. I should just start playing all future content with only 5* and 6* champs, even where there is no gate. It will thoroughly enrich my game, and play experience by making significant moments (etc), and vastly make this game more fun." NO ONE!!!!
We tolerate or even find it acceptably challenging to see *some, limited* champ restrictions here and there (path or chapter), because we might explore other champs for the task, but an entire gate of 4* or less, is absurd. That doesn't make anything more challenging, or move us to other strategies. It simply just *** creates a demand *** for a higher * champ, that we most likely already have in a lesser *. That's the contradiction, and why players are upset. It doesn't make sense, especially given the explanation you have given, and goes against what we love about MCOC.
These champs do have some functionality, but it is severely limited when compared to the likes of Corvus, Domino, Aegon, Omega, CAIW, Mr Sinister, Havoc, etc.
Update 12.0 was done under the premise that the developers wanted to "close the gap" between a few top champs and the rest of the pool. However, every new champ has gotten progressively stronger and have rendered a large percentage of the basic pool as grossly out-matched. In addition, the developers have ramped up the difficulty and complexity of events to cater to these new OP champs. Sure it's good that the devs are updating a few of the older champs, but even those changes get them up to 2018 standards.
93% of my roster are 2017 and older champs and simply are not built to endure this progressing meta. I have been running the same 5-champ team for over 6 months simply because I haven't had much luck. My most recent 4/55 rank up was Iceman just a couple weeks ago because I finally pulled him. Even he is becoming outdated in this progressing meta.
My concern is not that I don't have enough 5 & 6* champs to gain entry, my concern is that they simply aren't good enough to handle new content. My most recent pulls have been Black Panther, Phoenix, 6* Blackbolt, Proxima, Red Cyclops, and Mephisto. Again some functionality but nothing to really build an end-game caliber team around...

I have been part off the mcoc universe for many years, i was born when Iron Man didnt even exist, i watched the 2000 milliuem before thanos ever considered to cause mass destruction.
Back to the debate in hand. I would like to say KaBam you have done well but also you have done very bad!
Many will feel hard done by, by the fact you made them grind for featured 4* for a good few months and you also made them waste time and resourses on champions now they cannot use on Act 6.
We are very pleased the Act 6 has arrived.
But do you not think it would off been better to give due dilligence to everyone 6 months too 1 year to say that Act 6 will have rank limit?!
It would off given everyone half a chance to use them resourses on Mid tier 5* instead on god tier 4*.
That is my question to you Sir aka Kabam Aka i dont like you anymore.
