Gamora/Guillotine Synergy

MAN_AGER1MAN_AGER1 Member Posts: 30
Can anybody please explain why it is virtually impossible for Guillotine to stack more than 5 souls against high PI champs like ROL WS!

In general questing, Guillotine will stack to 15 souls incredibly fast but against high PI champions it is impossible!

Unless I am missing something then this really needs looking at!

Cheers

Like I said, no problem gaining 15 souls against low PI champs but impossible against high PI champs!!!

Is this because Kabam knows that Guillotine can take out winter soldier with one SP3??

You keep ignoring what the pevious poster meant. But maybe he wasn’t clear enough.

Guilly gets souls normally just for ever 6%? If I am right she lowers the opponents health
(That’s the reason she doesn’t stack a lot of souls versus wa rol)
With that synergy she gains souls another way... but ... that doesn’t mean she will stack them just as fast as low health opponents ... it’s exactly what’s expected from guilly.

There is another synergy I believe with Morningstar that helps her keep her souls longer ... that’s the way to gain more souls and do that awesome damage with her

@Treo the synergy is another way of gaining souls. If the 6% method also comes into play with the synergy then there would be no way that I can get to 15 souls so quick

    Super quick

You are nearly on the same track as me. The reason guilly gains that souls so quick in that fight is because she took 68% health too ... let’s say that accounts for the 11 souls ... and there is your 5 souls you gain with winter soldier ...

If you want to have longer duration so you can stack higher you need another synergy with Morningstar

If I take out the Gamora synergy then she would never gain that many souls

    You need both synergies ...

"Guillotine has a 50% chance to gain a soul when striking a bleeding opponent. "

That all there is to that synergy. Nothing to do with 6% damage etc

Wrong the synergy has a 10 second cooldown

6% damage refers to Guillotine's usual method of gathering souls, which is very challenging against opponents with massive health pools, like the opponent's in ROL.

If you read Guillotine's abilities, you'll notice that her souls expire after ten seconds.

The Gamora synergy has a 10-second cool down.

    The maths there isn't complicated.

It seems likely that the souls she gets from Gamora synergy also expire after ten seconds; as there's no information to suggest they obey different rules.

It gets better with the Synergy she gets from Morningstar; as that increases her souls expiry to 20 seconds. With both Morningstar and Gamora backing her up, she really could stack up souls and do some serious damage on her SP3.

    Have fun trying it out!

Correct @Voltolos. So you should still be gaining a soul every 10 seconds ish

To maximize Guillotine's Soul Count you'll want to run a team with Gamora, Morningstar, Night Thrasher, and Heimdall. Gamora gives a chance to gain an additional Soul Charge every 10 seconds when you place a Bleed Effect on the Opponent, Morningstar increase the time in take for a Soul Charge to Expire by 10 Seconds, Night Thrasher gives an increase to Crit Chance Rating for each Soul Charge currently active, and Heimdall gives an extra Permanent Crit Chance Rating Buff when you Dash Back for I believe 1.5 Seconds while also giving you a Cheat Death when you would be Ko'ed.

With the Crit Chance Rating boosts from Night Thrasher and Heimdall you will have an increased chance at dealing a Bleed to the Opponent, which will then have a chance to give you an Additional Soul Charge from Gamora, which are then given an extra Duration to by Morningstar, and lastly if you have Guillotine Duped then the Cheat Death from Heimdall will give you a chance to Life Steal (which is also boosted by her Soul Charge Count) from the Opponent and get back into the fight.

Is that Gamora-Guilly synergy new with the Gamora revamp ? (either way..) would that be enough to let Guilly Re-Earn the chance to Reverse Heal ROL Wolvie during that fight, even if she had lost her Souls from (for example) NOT doing the Wolvie fight all in one single fight, or not being able to kickoff her next SP2 in time to continue the Reverse cycle ?? And/or would it be enough if you also added any of those other mentioned (ie, Morningstar) as well ?

it depends on if you are onstantly hitting, but you get one around every 20 seconds on average, because you only have a 50% chance on hit.
