The difference between regular and uncollected arena crystals

Is there a reason that the regular arena crystal opening gives more units than the Uncollected ones??

We should have better drops from uncollected, imo.

These drops are based on 100k crystal opening on 4 differents days.

    Ur comparing 50 crystals to 10 crystals.
    Thats 50 chances at units compared to 10.

    So lets take 225 units out of 50 crystals assuming each on is only 25 units thats 9/50

    Where as 150 units out of 10 with uncollected giving the smallest amount of 75 each that equals
    2/10= 1/5.

    Now I'm no mathematician but 1/5 is essentially the same as 9/50.

    And considering their drop rates are the exact same its not surprising.
    Its that UC offers higher amounts at a higher price and a chance at a 5* Punisher

    RNG my man. RNG.

    the same number of BCs gives a better chance for an average result when spent on normal due to volume of crystals. there is more chance it balances good bad anad average.

    when opening the smaller volume of UC there is a higher chance of a win or loss at either end of good or bad RNG.

    its risk v reward.
    just like a casino.

    bet smaller amounts and there is more chance you break even and lesser chance you lose alot. but also lesser chance you win big

    bet larger amounts and if you win you win big, but there is also a chance of losing very quickly.

    for this reason I take the safe option of normal. it works for me.

    If you want guaranteed units go with regular. Over time you will get the same number of units for both, so the only advantage to uncollected is punisher, and a fun payout when you get the good RNG.

    I don't have the displays to support Drop Rates, but I suspect that they're the same for both, Uncollected being 5x the payout for 5x the price. They may seem to give more, but they're the same. The difference is, the regular Crystals are cheaper. Each Crystal is a separate RNG occurrence. Therefore, more chances. Let's say for argument sake that the Drop Rate is 3% Units. For 10k you can either have one 3% chance with 5x the Rewards, or 5 chances at 3% for 1/5 the payout. Just more chances.
    Either way, they're both scarce. LOL. I get straight Gold a great deal of times. Then the occasional spurt of Units.
