Whenever I do heavy attacks with Quake, she simply doesn't do them, no matter how many times I try. Am I doing something wrong? I watched a video from DorkLessons and I'm not pressing the screen too hard, it's a different issue. Help please

In my experience, with my style of quake, I don't see this. I typically hold heavy and go for the parry, then heavy again.
I have noticed it when I am trying to use quake without parry, and I believe it has to be something about starting to press heavy before a user evade is finished. It seems to be a problem with timing, but it can be tricky, because if its an auto evade from quake, the issue doesn't seem to happen.
My two cents anyway. If someone could shine more light on this, it would be appreciated.
