Faces do this strange thing where they use muscles to slightly shift around and make what's known as "facial expressions" indicating things like mood and temperament of the individual as well as showing reactions to certain situations (shock, anger, frustration). Not all expressions are attractive (nor are they meant to be). Amazingly, with all of these shifts, it somehow is the same person. Crazy.
