Blades Signature ablility Questions . please help

OK so ive had blade for a while. awakened him with a AG bringing his sig ability to 1.... ive duped him and used a few gems ive purchased with intel. so im up to sig ability 36. His ability works as follows:
While blocking blades healing factor allows him to recover Health at the cost of a percentage of stored power per second.

Im just a little confused about which total changes while raising his ability.
with a high sig does he gain more health or spend less power..

    He spends less power, the regen scales with his rank. for example, a 5* 5/65 blade regens more than a 4/55 blade.

    Just a FYI, green values in a champs ability are effected by Sig level.

    I wouldn’t spend your intel on sig stones. Horrible value.

    Raising my Sig abilities has more value to me than the other prizes
