I mean he is a part of the movie franchise , so is there a reason he is not an Avenger ? ( I haven't read the comics )

    When he was released he wasn't an official avenger in MCU I believe

    He's a Avenger only to Tony Stark and Dr.Strange because they were on the ship heading to Titan,so he isn't officially a Avenger but Black Panther CW shouldn't be either but Spidey was on loan from Sony.

    It’s a video game based off of comic books and not movies. I had a hard time realizing this as well and accepting it.

    Same reason why Green Goblin, Blade, Gwenpool, or literallyanyone that isn't an avenger, is not considered an avenger.

    Wrong. It's based off both the comics and the movies. That's why we have Captain America INFINITY WAR. It's not Captain America Infinity Gauntlet.
