These silly things are endless. They have been posted nearly every day. There are thousands of them for your enjoyment if you just use the search bar.
There are numerous champs in each class that are more useful for particular content you would like to pursue.
You have to read abilities, understand them, and play the game. It becomes apparent what works for you and what doesn’t. This may differ among different players.
It’s not that difficult if you play the game even moderately to have a good idea of the most desired champions.

As you mentioned, different champ have different usage yet there are still all rounded champs in the game. Given kabam launches at least 2 new champs per month, it is inevitable that some ppl may initiate such kind of discussion periodically.
The only thing you can do is skipping these kind of posts and look for what you are interested.
