will the "Egg" crystal be part of the auto opening?

I would like to know this, as the crystal was not mentioned in the list of auto opening crystals. So was this a glitch or is it not part of the previously mentioned list? or not?

    The Egg is one of the older crystals, so not sure why they don't specify all crystals before X date will be opened.

    It is at least 3 years old since they offered the Egg IIRC.

    Their current iterations of hero crystals are not listed. The egg is just a hero crystal with increased odds for HtD.

    I’m guessing that they will keep their current hero crystals available as they are rereleased whenever an arena for that champion pops up.

    It’s not about the age of crystals, it is about whether or not those crystals will be available in the future. Right now all those crystals from the far past are causing extra unneccessary load on servers when they need to varify the contents and availabilty of each one everytime the crystal vault or game loads. This is likely why players are experiencing missing icons when viewing assets in thier inventory, there is just too much information to load; so Kabam is cleaning it up to make things smoother and hopefully faster.
