A suggestion for lag

A short while back you announced you’re opening old crystals if others don’t to tidy up things to run smoother. How about removing certain old content, not a technical person so I’m not sure it’s possible but for example, remove Act 1/2/3 from anyone who’s uncollected. Remove variant if it’s 100%, road to labrynth when 100%. People farm potions and test new champs in realm. Variants are redos of old quests and are going to sit there forever? If for nothing else other than to clean up our quest screen, remove them once 100%. Have an opt out feature for dungeons, many people don’t do them or take a break from them. It would take more over 30-45 minutes to do one path of an easy quest right now the lag is so bad. Would that not help clean up servers?

    Besides, they can't remove it from the servers. They could only Block access to it.

    If ur loading time between fights exceed 5sec then u probably need to upgrade ur device no the game to be degraded. Probably a bad idea. Minimum requirements for the game to run smooth are (Personally tested on multiple devices) :
    Android 3GB RAM device
    iOS 2GB RAM device (equals to 4GB RAM Android)
    Examples of loading times:
    ipad4 1GB RAM ~70sec (plus game crashes after 15min)
    ipad5 2GB RAM ~3sec
    SamsungA6 3GB RAM ~5sec
    When playing games the most important aspect of performance is ram and kabam should give these suggested rates on their player base. But it’s probaly like playing hide and seek with players having older devices.

    Sorry but it doesn’t work like this. It’s a good thought but that content isn’t what is causing this issue.

    The backlog of crystals issue can be thought of like a printer queue where you have multiple jobs going but paused them to wait until you want to print. The queue gets overloaded with “paused” requests so they need more available ram to make space in the queue. Or empty the queue.

    Lag just isn’t as straightforward as “delete X to run Y”.

    Only iOs phones are able to take only 2 seconds loading. Android's, even the new ones, take something like 30 seconds. Some of them even go up to minutes at some scenarios

    Crystal lag has to do with communcation with the server. The Crystals are on our devices, but the Rewards are accessed via the server. When we open a Crystal, it accesses the pool there. The issue with backlogged Crystals is on the server itself. If you're talking about navigating the Crystal Menu, that's a UI issue.
