Gambit Special 1 missing

I was just in arena and had my Gambit with a Sp1 ready, so i did my normal 5 hit combo and it completely whiffed. the first strike misses and allows the arena AI to block so the remaining part of the sp1 does not hit and i cannot use his stun. What is going on?

    The first hit of his sp1 is a melee attack, so maybe you were just too far away to smack him with the sp1's first hit.
    Do you have any video so people can understand better what's going on?

    Oh I know what you're talking about but good luck with it this has been an issue on and off since June 2017 and has gone nowhere Everytime it was brought up
