**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Everybody agrees that Variant 2 was the best piece of content released by Kabam?

As title says i'm a huge fan of variant 2 , best design we seen so far , very unlike the cash grab that was Variant 1 or act 6 , congrats and thanks to the team that designed that quest

Agree with @Werewrym. Variant #2 was too easy, Variant #1 was abit too challenging (not that it's bad). Some middle ground would be good.

Probably have 6-8 paths per quest, 3-4 of them with nodes that encourage certain champ usage (like V2), and 3-4 being outright challenging to give a good balance.

V2 wasnt exactly too easy.. but it was fun to play .. that the point of a video game i think... whereas frustration is not.. if i wanna get frustrated id hit a casino

Agreed. Very hard but had counters and GREAT rewards. Even Variant 1, which was way harder, felt better than 6.2 because you had a guaranteed r5 at the end of it. The singel t5b and two RNG dumpster crystals are not tempting me to spend to get through it ASAP like V1 did.

And here I am with no XL 5*s or good enough 4*s. Variant 2 is very hard if you haven't been blessed with these.

You don't need XL champs. I used Cap IW, Void, Domino and Ghost for much of it. Heavies don't glance.

    Yes it is.
why? couse it have restrictions but in a way players can manage them and not just one or 2 champions needed in order to obtain 100%.

Fun fights, reasonable nodes, short quests, like most of the special quest should be. I really enjoyed it, lots of the times I was like "Ok now I'll start gathering units and come back next week, but I just kept trying and trying because of the good challange (not like Sinister khm...). The character specific buff nodes were awesome. And the rewards👌

    Kudos

I loved variant 2. Disagree that it was too easy. Thought it was perfect (i.e. didn’t have to spend a dime). I don’t pay to complete content. If I can’t beat it, that’s just how it is. Variant 1 is too hard and act 6 is a joke. Not even bothering with 6.2 at all.

I agree, Variant 2 was the best. It felt fun with various ways to attack problems. I am almost at 100% and feel motivated to keep going. On some content, I have to force myself to finish it.

I'd agree it was some of the most fun content they've put out in a while. It felt like it might have been a little too easy, but I'd also say Variant 1 was a little too hard.

    This summarizes my feelings.

Yup I’d agree here I’m struggling with v1 100% with v2 100% was super easy and had extra rewards

I liked variant 2 because it rewarded you for bringing the right champs.

It seemed like in variant 1 there were some fights that were a giant middle finger regardless of how good your champs were.

XL is not a restriction, as you can still play with anyone else, just using XL bypasses the glancing mechanic.

Not sure. Not even remotely close to being able to start Variant 1.

they are not sequential other than name. you can do Variant 2 without ever touching variant 1

someone disagreed that you can do Variant 2 before Variant 1, that is odd.

Beautifully made and balanced, much more so than Variant 1. It wasn't too easy, unless you have a 5/65 Venom. You could use other champs and excel but it benefited you to use the suggested champs. Much better than the absolute gated approach that Kabam has endorsed for recent content.

    Have you done variant 2??
yes I have 100% completed it. I rarely used any XL champs for it, using them allows you to fully bypass the glancing mechanic, but other champs allow you to bypass it in way that they need. It is not a restriction, it is a boon that allows you to bypass something.
